OUR CHURCH WARDENS

JAN OUTRAM

Jan writes: "I was born in Rotherham, South Yorkshire but have moved around the country through my late husband’s work.  I started attending Holy Trinity 30 years ago when we moved to Formby.  For many years I have been involved with Girlguiding and for the past 18 years I can be found 'behind the stall' on a Saturday morning at the Workshop."

JENNY HAYS

Jenny succeeded Richard Woodward as Warden in May 2021. She has lived most of her adult life in Dorset.  After a career of 10 years with John Lewis, she worked for 20 years as a senior manager for a company providing facilities management to the military.
Jenny has two sets of twins and seven grand children.  On retirement she moved to Formby to be near her daughter Laura and family.  Ironically, Chris her son-in-law undertook ministry training and was ordained in 2020, so the family moved to Newburgh, near to where Chris is Curate at St John's Burscough. Jenny has a new life in Formby and fully immersed herself in Holy Trinity, where she says her faith has grown and deepened. She feels privileged to be a Church Warden and honoured to serve God, Mark and our church family, and to walk in Richard's footsteps.
